Do You Know These Amazing Google Tricks?

Google is the undisputed king of search engines and it is being used multiple times per day by millions of Americans. However, did you know that there are tricks you can use to find the results you want faster and easier? By learning the following techniques, you can find the relevant information you seek much more quickly — in many cases. Use Double Quotes When you put double quotes around a search query, Google will look for results more heavily based on that exact phrase rather than results that incorporate the words in various configurations. Example: “Elvis Aaron Presley” Using A Plus Sign When you add a plus sign before a word, you tell Google that that word is high priority and should be a part of any results given. Example: Cheap +microphone cases Use A Minus Sign If you want Google to filter out results based on a keyword, use a minus sign before the word. See you at our Shameless meeting on Wednesday

We had a very big turnout for last week’s Shameless meeting (37) and expect another one this week, so don’t miss your chance to promote your business, get great new networking tips, drink Kona coffee, and (of course) indulge in 410-calorie muffin delight. There is no presenter scheduled for this week but we have an open invitation to PSL Mayor Gregory Oravec to speak or do Q & A. (He has said he will be attending sometime but we don’t know when. It might be this week.) It’s our last meeting in January and we look forward to seeing you. ALSO, put Saturday, February 2nd on your calendar (Groundhog Day) for a Shameless social at Pierced Cider — 5:30pm. It’s always a great hang when we get together at Pierced Cider, so be sure to bring your family and friends. Please share this...

Why Network

If you want to get the word out about your business, non-profit organization, political campaign, or other matter, there is nothing better than connecting with people face-to-face. While we may have amazing technological tools that help us connect with each other more easily these days, there is no substitute for making authentic, in-person connections.

Clock that says "It's time to advertise yourself".
Words "Success doesn't come to you, you go to it."
